                        Vasthu Vidhya (Science of Architecture)

All  sciences in Indian culture  explain and relate all the facts and phenomena related to the human body, mind, , intelligence Awareness and Consciousness. All the branches of Vedic sciences are interrelated and interdependent and have great beneficial influence over life on earth.  Great emphasis is laid on the energy field that is generated in our body, mainly through thoughts which is streamlined by the intellect and powered by the Awareness. This generated energy should be harmonious to external energy field of nature.

When we built a house or building we will tend to disrupt the harmonious interaction of our generated energy field to that of the nature's energy field.  Vasthu is a science of designing  that ensures that a harmonious flow of energy is present in the building and that of nature.

Vasthu considered the interplay of various forces of nature involving the five elements of earth, water, wind, fire and space and strives to maintain equilibrium as these elements influence, guide and change the living styles of not only human beings but also every living being on earth. Thus, they influence our deeds, luck, behavior and other basics of life.

'Vasthu' - 'A Place of Dwelling'

The Sanskrit word 'Vasthu' means 'dwelling place' and it is derived from the root verb 'Vas' that means to 'dwell'.
