Fundamental principle of Vedas

Without knowing the fundamental principle of Vedas, the whole Vedic tradition including the rituals, Puranic stories , Symbolism and culture will be totally be mis-understood and ridiculed. This has happened over time, but thanks to teachers (gurus) who impart right knowledge at different time periods whenever the Vedic Knowledge is at the verge of mis-interpretation.

Vedic Tradition is not a Religion, but pure science. Any religion is founded by a single person. Whatever that person taught is passed down in a single or couple book format and blindly followed without questioning over generations. Anyone who questions the idea of the founder is ruthlessly exterminated fearing the downfall of the religious organization.

There is no founder for Vedic tradition and no single book or source is available. There is no such one Holy Book in Vedic tradition. THERE  ARE  DIRECT VEDIC AND INDIAN SPIRITUAL LITERATURE  AS SUCH 1280 (One Thousand and two hundred and eighty).  The Four Vedas  are  25 recensions of Rigveda, 100 recensions of yajurveda 1000 recensions of sama veda  and  50 recensions of  atharva veda.  18 brahmanas,  11 aranyakas  108 upanishads, these are the vedas. 18 books each  for of the vedangas : siksha, niruktha vyakarana, chandasastra, kalpasastra and jyothisha- which  are  directly linked with vedic literature.

Rig-Veda: Rig Veda, the most important of the four Vedas is itself composed by more than 210  Rishies (Ancient Indian Scientists).  None of the Rishi's were known in  the background of caste, because caste is not based by birth but by one's contribution to the soceity (Reference from The Indian Institute of Scientific Heritage).

There is no founder for Science. Who can be "The" founder or father of Physics or Chemistry or for any scientific discipline?. Scientific approach is based on experimentation, observation and drawing inference. Science is always evolving, corrections, deletions and modifications are always happening throughout ages.

Similar is Vedic Tradition no single Founder, but the knowledge is contributed by many great scientists called "Rishi's". Throughout ages the knowledge in Vedic tradition has been added, deleted, modified. The knowledge of countless people is what make the information of Vedas.

The core of Vedic Tradition is "Freedom", which is applicable in all aspects: freedom to think, question, answer and live. When this freedom is lost, great masters have been born in India to restore this immortal tradition.

The knowledge in Vedas were contributed by many Rishis. Rishis (Vedic Scientists)   are seers  of eternal Truth, who developed methods of inner enquiry into the mystery of the universe equally exact and reliable in practice as the most rigorous scientific study.  They started their search from the simple body and sense organs and journeyed deeper and deeper to the core of the "Being".

Through their ancient Scientific research, the Rishi's developed inner technologies like Yoga and Meditation through which not only physical and mental well being can be achieved but also the cosmic mystery of "Consciousness" can be realized.
